“The Book of Wisdom”

“Written about a hundred years before the coming of Christ. It’s author, whose name is not known to us, was a member of the Jewish community at Alexandria, in Egypt. –"

“Love justice, * you who judge the earth; think of the LORD in goodness, and seek him in integrity of heart; Because he is found by those who test him not, and he manifests himself to those who do not disbelieve him. “Wisdom 1:1-2

“For perverse counsels separate a man from God, and his power, put to the proof, rebukes the foolhardy;” Wisdom 1:3

“Court not death by your erring way of life, nor draw to yourselves destruction by the works of your hands. “Wisdom 1:12

“It was the wicked who with hands and words invited death, considered it a friend, and pined for it, and made a covenant to be in its possession, they who said among themselves, thinking not aright:” --Wisdom 1:16

When you read Chapter 2 of the Book of Wisdom, the author speaks of the attitudes towards the Son of God, Jesus Christ, and His own people, testing Him and/or sentencing Him to death. In their words and actions.

We often wonder to ourselves, what is the key to life? What is the meaning of it all? Where did we come from and where are we going? Yet we refuse the truth. In times of reflection, we need to see the errors of our ways, words, and thoughts. Repent in Jesus's name. In learning, we need to realize not in just our own wisdom, but with the Word of God. Have faith in Jesus's name. So many individual thoughts, ideologies, perspectives. What is the truth in so many truths? A lost soul in confusion. So it is of the utmost importance that we keep this in our hearts. Jesus Christ.

The Son of God. Above all truths of this world of life and death, Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, the life. No one goes to the Father except He who came from the Father. He knew where He came from, the Father in Heaven. He knew where He was going, back to the Father in Heaven. The kingdom of God. No one has descended and ascended, except the Son of God. He acted as He saw the Father in Heaven acted. He spoke what the Father in Heaven spoke. His works are not of His own, but the Father’s in Heaven.

The truth of life, the key to life, was testified by our LORD, God Almighty, through His Son, Jesus Christ. Yet some miss it, over and over, years after years, because His words have no place in our hearts. The world hated Him then, and now, misled by ungodly spirits. And the prowling of evil spirits seeking the ruin of souls, is ever so true. In the world of the knowledge of life and death, you have time.
